RedAstrologer () is seeking a talented WordPress Full Site Editor Conversion Specialist to convert our current website from Elementor to WordPress Full Site Editing.
As we aim to enhance our website’s performance, SEO optimization, and overall user experience, we are looking for a skilled individual who can not only complete the initial conversion task but also work with us on long-term improvements and optimizations.
You’ll be working closely with an software engineer and startup founder (me) based in San Francisco.
Requirements:
– Proficiency in WordPress Full Site Editing and block-based theme development.
– Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and some PHP.
– Experience with website optimization techniques and SEO best practices.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
– Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
– Prior experience with astrology or similar niche websites is a plus but not required.
Sample Task [< 1 hour]: As a sample task, please convert the home page (/) on RedAstrologer to a block-based theme. You can choose any theme from here – /themes/ Please share the final converted page on /. Once completed, please share the exported zip file containing the converted page. Bonus: You can share the sample on a shared free wordpress host or another wordpress online sandbox. The sample task will be evaluated on how close it resembles the current page and site performance using Lighthouse. Please feel free to use dummy data as long as the look and feel remains sample.
