WordPress Plugin Developer

We are looking to expand our team with the addition of a WordPress Developer. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in PHP as well as solid experience in SQL. Our work environment is fast-paced and requires individuals who are flexible, responsive, self-starters, and excellent at multi-tasking.

As a WordPress Plugin Developer, You Will:
– Create & Maintain WordPress Plugins to accomplish the custom functionality required for each project
– Troubleshoot and Investigate reported bugs
– Identify ways to make our plugins the best they can be

NOTE: THIS IS NOT JUST CREATING THEMES.
You will create WordPress Plugins from scratch and work on existing advanced plugins.

You Need to be able to:
– Read and Explain your code (blindly copying & pasting from the web will not get you far)
– Have a strong understanding of the WordPress system and WordPress Standards
– Initiate & Maintain constant communication with colleagues.
– Develop solutions from scratch.
– Write Clean, Formated, Structured Code

Skills and Qualifications:
– PHP

– cross-browser compatibility
– Security Principles
– At least a basic understanding of API’s

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WRITE PHP CODE.
You need to have single-handedly built WordPress plugins before, and you must be familiar with WordPress Codex.

***I am not looking for someone who can install plugins and themes. I am looking for someone who can create them from scratch.***

The candidate must be able to provide proof of experience and knowledge in these areas.
