Job Description

We are looking to hire a talented and result-oriented Full-Stack WordPress Plugin Developer. We are an international small team operating several webstores and specialize in developing sophisticated WordPress plugins mostly related to WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads stores and maintain several WordPress websites we are looking to continuously improve. All of our WordPress plugins need to show clean source code and comply with the latest WordPress coding standards.

All our projects are managed on GitHub.

Job Description

• WordPress Plugin development
• Full Stack Development: We expect you to master all the relevant backend and frontend tasks.
• Managing GitHub repositories and branches
• Optimizing performance and execution speed of our plugins
• Enhancing the user-friendliness
• Ensuring source code is clean and meets WordPress standards
• Analyzing problems and finding creative solutions
• Daily/Weekly work report required.

Your Profile

• >5 years of experience in WordPress
• Previous experience developing WordPress Plugins
• Strong know-how in WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads
• Strong know-how of MySQL, PHP, CSS, Javascript and HTML
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Analytical and structured work approach
• Fluency in English required (written and oral)
• Ability to communicate clearly and interact within our team
• Academic Background with a degree in IT Engineering
• Hardworking and ambitious
• Result-driven and problem solver
• Positive attitude
• Trustworthy personality, high curiosity, interested to learn

2) Please explain if you are familiar with GitHub or not. If yes, please explain when to use a Master Branch and when to use a Child Branch?
3) Motivation letter explaining your goals and motivation for developing sophisticated WordPress Plugins
4) Please provide the following Code Sample:

Create a small WordPress plugin with a simple function to display an admin notice showcasing the titles of the last modified and published WordPress blog posts.

The function should retrieve the latest 10 blog posts, discard those with even IDs, and generate an admin notice with an info-dismissible style.

The notice must present the blog post titles in an unordered list under the bold text “Last Modified and Published Blog Post Titles”.

Kindly note that this test is not about testing your programming skills; this test is about testing your attention to detail and source code quality. Developers are expected to meticulously follow this description, paying attention to detail and strictly adhering to WordPress coding standards.
