Job Overview:
The WordPress & SEO Development Specialist will develop, manage, and optimise our WordPress websites, implement effective SEO strategies, create engaging blog content, and execute link-building campaigns. Additionally, the specialist will manage and optimise our Shopify stores and develop our Amazon FBA operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in WordPress development, a deep understanding of SEO best practices, and Shopify and Amazon FBA expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
WordPress Development:
Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
Customise themes and plugins to meet specific business requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs promptly.
SEO Optimisation:
Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimisation and new content creation.
Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website visibility and rankings.
Monitor and analyse website performance using SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
Blogging:
Create, edit, and publish high-quality, SEO-friendly blog content that resonates with our target audience.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content calendars and ensure consistent content production.
Optimise blog posts for search engines and social media platforms.
Link Building:
Develop and execute effective link-building strategies to enhance domain authority and improve search rankings.
Identify and contact relevant websites and influencers for guest posting and backlink opportunities.
Track and report on link-building efforts and results.
Shopify Management:
Manage and optimise Shopify stores, ensuring seamless user experience and high conversion rates.
Customise Shopify themes and apps to align with business needs.
Monitor store performance, track analytics, and implement strategies to boost sales.
Amazon FBA Management:
Oversee Amazon FBA operations, including product listings, inventory management, and order fulfilment.
Optimise product listings with effective keywords and compelling content.
I tracked and analysed sales performance, implementing strategies to increase visibility and sales on Amazon.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Extensive experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing SEO strategies.
Excellent writing and editing skills with a focus on creating engaging, SEO-friendly content.
Experience in link-building techniques and outreach strategies.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Expertise in managing and optimising Shopify stores.
Experience with Amazon FBA operations, including product listing optimisation and inventory management.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
