We are looking for an experienced and reliable WordPress Developer/troubleshooting/support team member for our WordPress agency for a part-time or full-time position.
We work in a fast-paced environment. We find solutions quickly and apply those solutions to sites before testing and QA checks are completed and clients are updated. If you work at a slow methodical pace, this won’t be the ideal job for you.
This position will suit a developer who works quickly and accurately providing estimates for tasks and completing said tasks. It also requires someone who can document their work and provide notes to the internal team or clients directly.
The scope of work will be WordPress website development, troubleshooting issues, adding or enhancing new features, constructing new, or updating existing WordPress websites, adding features, fixing things that are broken and so on. In summary, it’s a varied role ????
Required skills:
? Working with existing WordPress websites and themes
? Troubleshooting (plugin conflicts, woocommerce issues, payment gateways, permission issues, slow sites, cPanel operation, general things that go wrong that a good developer can see and fix quickly with minimal disruption)
? Editing and enhancing existing WordPress websites both via page builders and custom sites
? Creating custom Websites, WordPress themes and child themes
? A good understanding of Plugins that will enhance particular websites
? Strong Elementor experience
? Strong ACF experience
? Strong HTML skills
? Strong CSS skills
? PHP skills
? Javascript skills
? Ability to provide realistic time estimates for tasks
? Understanding of Woocommerce setups and the ability to build a store, add features and troubleshoot
? Quick thinker with strong written and spoken English communication skills. Level C1 or above.
Other skills that would be an advantage but aren’t necessary to be considered:
? Experience with other page builders e.g. Avada, Enfold, WP Bakery etc.
? Knowledge of member press
? Knowledge of LMS systems
? Creating written and video guides for your team and clients where required
? Experience with
? Experience with Slack
? Whilst we are NOT looking for a designer, you should have an eye for design – understanding the basics of what looks good and what doesn’t with an ability to implement that.
