Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative WordPress Web Designer to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing and developing engaging and user-friendly websites for various home service-based companies, including roofing contractors, swimming pool contractors, and water restoration contractors. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using WordPress, Elementor, Avada Theme, and other web design tools, and will have a strong understanding of SEO best practices..

Key Responsibilities:
Website Design and Development:
Design and develop custom WordPress websites with a focus on user experience and conversion optimization.
Implement on-page SEO techniques to improve search engine rankings.
Create responsive designs that are mobile-friendly and optimized for different devices.
Manage website security, perform regular backups, and ensure website performance updates.
Collaborate with the content creation team to integrate high-quality graphics and content.
Utilize Slack for internal communication and ClickUp for project management.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues as they arise.
Stay updated with the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies.

SEO and Performance Optimization:
Optimize websites for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and ranking.
Use tools like Google Analytics to track and report on website performance, making data-driven decisions for improvements.
Implement performance optimization techniques to ensure fast load times and a smooth user experience.

Content Management and Integration:
Work with content creators to integrate blog posts, images, and other media into websites.
Ensure all content is properly formatted and aligned with the overall design and brand guidelines.
Utilize CRM’s for automations and CRM functions, integrating with WordPress as needed.

Project Management:
Use ClickUp to manage tasks, deadlines, and project workflows.
Collaborate with the team using Slack for internal communication and updates.
Maintain organized documentation and ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Client Communication:
Engage with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into effective web design solutions.
Provide training and support to clients on managing their websites.
Respond to client requests and make updates as needed.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a WordPress Web Designer or similar role.
Strong portfolio showcasing custom WordPress websites.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Experience with SEO best practices and performance optimization.
Familiarity with ClickUp, Slack, and other industry related softwares.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with home service-based businesses.
Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
Familiarity with Avada and Elementor themes.
