Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Web Designer/Developer with expertise in WordPress to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our online presence by designing and developing engaging websites that effectively communicate our mission and initiatives to a global audience.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into user-friendly WordPress websites.
Design and develop custom WordPress themes and templates that align with our brand identity and messaging.
Implement responsive web design principles to ensure our websites are accessible across various devices and screen sizes.
Integrate plugins and third-party tools to enhance website functionality and user experience.
Optimize websites for speed, performance, and search engine visibility.
Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in web design and development to continuously improve our online presence.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Web Designer/Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing WordPress websites you have designed and developed.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Expertise in WordPress theme development and customization.
Familiarity with responsive web design principles and best practices.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Passion for social impact and a commitment to our organization’s mission.
Bonus Skills:

Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
Familiarity with other content management systems (e.g., Joomla, Drupal).
