You will be a junior WordPress developer/builder/web designer for the team, troubleshooting WordPress problems, building sites, making modifications, and handling technical implementations.
**Who Are We Looking For?**
Seeking a motivated, and intelligent part-time experienced WordPress developer. Must have experience with WordPress. Must have experience troubleshooting WordPress errors. Must be flexible and adaptable, willing to learn and do new things. This is a long-term position, we are looking for the right person to keep for a long time.
**Position Details:**
Pay: USD $3/hr
Full Time 40hr/week
Hours: 12pm-8pm EST
– There is some flexibility here, maybe plus or minus 2 or 3 hours in either direction, but most of these hours will need to be covered
– The reason is that we need someone on during these times to handle any urgent requests that come up.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
– Receive and complete tasks from the project manager
– Tasks will likely be technical in nature, for example, “fix this responsive issue at 550px screen width” or “fix this critical error that appears on this page”
– Responding to support requests from a client, for example “replace this image” or “adjust this product’s price”.
– CSS on page changes
– Using visual page builders to build or modify websites
– SEO efforts
– Navigating WordPress. Changing Settings, or making changes as needed.
– Troubleshooting WordPress Errors
– Help to update and create documentation
– Using various plugins, and updating settings. Learning how to use new plugins via documentation, videos, or experimentation will be required
– Making changes to code or creating code to change functionality
– Communicating with the team the status of your work
– Help build out websites using a page builder.
– Help organize and maintain project management
– Help write proposals
– Other Various duties. Should be willing to do things that come up.
– Daily report on progress during the work week via email

Requirements
– English Fluency
– Reliability and integrity
– Responsive: Quick with email and chat communication
– An advanced understanding of WordPress
– An advanced understanding of troubleshooting WordPress
– WooCommerce Experience
– Some Experience coding
– Experience using various plugins, and page builders
– Strong Organizational Skills
– The ability to teach yourself how to do things by using Google and following how-to guides
