Job Description:
THE VA GROUP is seeking a skilled and motivated Part-Time Website Developer and SEO Specialist to enhance and maintain our web presence. This role involves working on our existing Support One website and developing a new business website for CoreFunction (). If you have a strong background in WordPress, SEO, and are comfortable creating instructional content, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
1. Support One Website:
* Update and maintain numerous existing pages on our WordPress site.
* Add a floating link to direct users to the ROI Calculator page.
* Possibly add new pages as required.
* Perform keyword optimization and optimize existing blog posts for SEO.
* Produce short instructional videos (Loom) to demonstrate small edits for future reference.
2. CoreFunction Website:
* Develop a new WordPress website for CoreFunction ().
* Ensure all source code is owned by us and stored in a GitHub repository.
* Implement a comprehensive SEO strategy from the beginning to boost visibility and traffic.
Requirements:
* Proven experience with WordPress development.
* Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
* Ability to create and optimize content for search engines.
* Experience with GitHub for version control.
* Proficiency in creating instructional videos using tools like Loom.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience in developing business websites.
* Familiarity with developing and implementing SEO strategies from scratch.
* Experience with keyword optimization tools.
