WordPress Website Developer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated WordPress Website Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for website design, development, and maintenance tasks. This is an immediate start position. The candidate must have a strong background in WordPress and website development, with a focus on utilizing Elementor.

This position is on an ad-hoc basis, meaning the tasks, projects, and hours will differ from week to week. As an Ad-Hoc Website Developer, you will have the opportunity to work flexibly, taking on assignments as they become available. This arrangement allows for a dynamic work environment and the chance to gain exposure to a variety of projects and clients.

Responsibilities:
– Helping to designin and build websites using WordPress, with a focus on Elementor.
– Assisting with website maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
– Editing and updating web pages using Elementor or Divi Builder.
– Plugging content into website builds, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
– Testing websites for cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
– Implement SEO best practices such as optimizing website structure, improving internal linking, and creating XML sitemaps.
– Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and analyses to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance website rankings.
– Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, providing regular reports and recommendations to clients.

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a WordPress Website Developer or similar role.
– Strong proficiency in WordPress, with a focus on utilizing Elementor.
– Solid understanding of website development principles and best practices.
– Ability to work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
– Strong understanding of SEO principles and techniques.
– Knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword research tools.
– Ability to conduct comprehensive SEO audits and analyze data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
– Experience with Shopify is beneficial but not essential
– Familiarity with responsive design and mobile optimization.
– Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
– Strong organizational and time management abilities.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
