Position: WordPress/WooCommerce Expert
Location: Remote
Hours: 8-10 hours per day
Compensation: $3 per hour (starting rate, with potential for increase based on performance)
Contract: Long-term
Days Off: 1 day off per week

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated WordPress/WooCommerce Expert to join our e-commerce team. This is a long-term contract position that requires a commitment of at least 8 hours per day, with the possibility of working up to 10 hours. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with WordPress and WooCommerce, and a passion for e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Development and Maintenance:

Develop and maintain WordPress/WooCommerce websites.
Customize themes and plugins to meet specific business requirements.
Ensure the website is responsive, fast, and optimized for SEO.
Product Management:

Add, edit, and manage product listings on WooCommerce.
Ensure product information is accurate and up-to-date.
Optimize product pages for better user experience and conversion rates.
Site Optimization and Performance:

Monitor website performance and implement improvements.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues promptly.
Implement best practices for website speed, security, and scalability.
E-commerce Functionality:

Set up and manage payment gateways, shipping options, and tax settings.
Integrate third-party tools and services to enhance e-commerce functionality.
Ensure smooth operation of the checkout process and order management.
Customer Support:

Assist with customer inquiries related to website issues.
Provide technical support to customers and team members.
Manage and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
Content Management:

Create and manage website content, including blogs, landing pages, and other digital assets.
Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s voice and marketing strategy.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement content strategies.
Analytics and Reporting:

Set up and manage website analytics tools.
Generate regular reports on website performance and user behavior.
Use data insights to recommend and implement improvements.
Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with the marketing, product, and design teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Provide creative input and technical solutions for various projects.
Communicate effectively to ensure alignment on project goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:

Proven experience with WordPress and WooCommerce development and management.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Experience with SEO best practices and website optimization.
Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace.
