Job Description

We are a fast-growing home and kitchen e-commerce business seeking a rockstar Customer Service Associate and generalist VA to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer service inquiries via email and managing customer service inboxes on marketplaces such as Amazon Seller Central. The position will also require handling general virtual assistant tasks as needed. Responsibilities:
* This is primarily a customer service email and support role but will have additional general VA duties on the side (no real-time chat / no voice chat required!)
* Primarily responsibilities include respond to and address customer inquiries via email and messaging via platforms (operating procedures and templates will be provided)
* Issue and send replacement products to customers (done virtually) and be the face of the brand (guidance to be provided)
* Manage customer service inbox on platforms such as Amazon Seller Central
* Respond to and assist customers with technical product questions and issues (templates and guidance to be provided)
* Proactively reach out to dissatisfied customers (negative reviews) to address their concerns and improve their experience
* Bonus: Handle general virtual assistant tasks as needed (e.g., social media posting, reach out to blogs, design, etc)

Requirements:
* Must have excellent English speaking and writing capabilities (writing especially important)
* Must have a positive and friendly attitude, very detail-oriented, high performer, be very reliable, and have a desire to learn and grow on the job
* Strongly prefer experience communicating with customers via email or similar tools (e.g., customer service tools) or have experience in a related role
* Experience with popular (or similar) internet collaboration tools such as Google Docs/sheets, Gmail, Dropbox, Whatsapp/Skype, etc
* High internet speed and a good computer, willingness to install various support software to better perform the job
* Bonus skills: worked with Amazon Seller Central before, managed social media platforms and/or have design skills (e.g., photoshop and/or Canva)

Work Schedule:
* Flexible hours but requirement that customer service messages are responded to within 12 hours or less (and never more than 24 hours), 7 days a week
* Flexible schedule but we ask to align ~2 hours per day with US east coast time zone for meetings and synchronous chatting during the week (usually philippine mornings and/or late evenings; can discuss)
* Flexible Vacation, if you need time off (just let me know in advance).

Salary Range:
* Competitive pay and negotiable based on experience and qualifications
* Seeking full-time or part-time (e.g., 20/hrs per week)

Benefits:

* Eligible for “13 month” bonus (prorated based on number of months worked)
