WP Content Sites: Culture and Travel – VA for Research, Drafts, Design, Communication, Support

Our German company owns and manages some large English-language WordPress websites related to travel (Thailand) and culture (including international dances and parties). We are hiring long-term VAs, starting with 20 hours per week (half-time). It could increase to 40 hours (full time).

The most important tasks for you are:
– Event Data Research, Entry, and Outreach to Organizers
– Uploading and formatting articles in WordPress: Upload, Tagging, Internal Links (both directions), TOC, Gmaps
– Adding Images to Articles: Suggest articles from Depositphotos or Midjourney AI, Download, Alt Text, Description, Resizing, and Source List XLS. Outreach for photo permissions
– Online Research: Preparation and Draft of monthly review Articles
– SEO Support: Reseaching keywords, enriching content
– Data Collection: Research Affiliate Products, direct advertisers, Google Sheets
– Article Writing: Draft articles, outlines, research, ChatGTP
– Research competitor web sites
– Outreach: identify and email experts on a topic to request a quote to include in an article
– Social Media – Research, Posting, Pinterest, Instagram, and YouTube
– Customer Support – email
– Graphics Design – Canva, Midjourney

Soft Skills
As you can see, the tasks are quite diverse. Some are routine. With others, we are still experimenting, so we appreciate your feedback on building good routines. Lots of things for you to learn. You should have some intermediate experience and a desire to grow. You should communicate if instructions are not clear. In your job application, please mention the word “Solid” in the header line.

Using AI
AI is great for some tasks. I use ChatGTP and Midjourney very often. But I hate AI Job applications. Please write a brief, precise job application. Don´t send me a long, fluffy text generated by AI. And don´t forget to mention “Solid”. Thank you.

Payment and work hours
For the beginning, I am happy to make weekly payments. I prefer Wise bank transfers, but I can also do Paypal. You should maintain a timesheet to document your daily work. Daily hours are flexible; we should aim for 20 hours monthly. I suggest one 20-minute weekly video conference; otherwise, chat is fine. Also, we can use Loom.
