Job Description:
We are currently seeking a seasoned Blog Writer with strong SEO and WordPress skills to join our content team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling blog posts that enrich our audience’s understanding of various travel destinations and experiences, while driving organic traffic through effective SEO practices.

Responsibilities:

Writing engaging and informative blog posts on travel and lifestyle topics.
Conducting thorough research and interviews to gain in-depth knowledge about each blog post’s topic.
Optimizing all content for SEO using RankMath and other relevant tools.
Using WordPress to create, edit, and publish blog posts.
Reviewing Google Search Console analytics to identify articles with low CTR, and making necessary adjustments to meta descriptions or other elements to improve performance.
Actively engaging in travel communities, both online and offline, to build high-quality, white-hat SEO backlinks.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of SEO best practices and industry trends.
Working collaboratively with our content and SEO teams to align content strategies and maximize impact.
Chat GPT and AI tools can be used but must be able to gather the information or experiences for featured writers to publish the articles.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Blog Writer, SEO Specialist, or similar role.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong understanding of SEO principles and keyword research.
Experience with WordPress and SEO tools like RankMath and Google Search Console.
Familiarity with white-hat link-building strategies and techniques.
Ability to analyze SEO metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
Knowledge of the travel industry and online travel communities.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Good interpersonal skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
Nice to Have:

Degree in Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Professional experience in the travel industry.
