Writer Job Description:
Part-time/Gig Writer with Sales, Marketing, (and/or) Software as a Service Experience
We are seeking a talented and motivated copywriter with a strong background in sales, marketing, and software to join our team on a part-time or gig-by-gig basis.
The ideal candidate will have a knack for creating compelling content that drives engagement and conversions, and a deep understanding of sales, software, and technology.
In short, what we need is someone who can take the outlines that we provide and turn them into high-converting, completed pieces of content in our brand voice, tone, and writing style.
Responsibilities: Write Great Content…
* Develop high-quality written content for various channels – for now, the content you write will only be posted on our website & blog, but we’ll be expanding this soon.
* Create engaging sales copy that effectively communicates product value propositions and drives customer action.
* Collaborate with our team to understand content requirements and target audiences to ensure content is relevant.
* Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
* Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a writer with a focus on sales, marketing, and software.
* Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, and the ability to translate them into persuasive copy.
* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
* Familiarity with SEO best practices and content marketing strategies.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in Google docs, sheets, and other Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with B2B sales and marketing.
* Knowledge or willingness to stay up to date on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the software industry.
* Strong portfolio showcasing relevant writing samples.
