Writer/Researcher

This job is to follow structured processes to create articles. There will be two different types:

1) Using an AI tool & following a very specific workflow
When using the AI tool, the most important thing will be to do good research and provide the tool with high-quality sources. The tool will suggest sources for the topic you have entered (which I will give you lists of.) You will need to check the source articles carefully. If they do not meet the topics needs, you will need to google and provide the tool with others. Once it has the 3 sources, the tool will then generate the outline, which you should check against the article structure I provide in the workflow. If that’s good, you’ll tell the tool to generate the article. It will generate the article, which you will double check against the outline, read to make sure it makes sense, and then use the AI image generator within the tool to generate relevant photos.

This is very easy and fast and once you get the hang of it, you should be able to run several of these articles at the same time.

I will proofread these articles in the AI tool and once they are approved, you’ll move them into the website back-end with the images. At this point you will follow the optimization checklist provided (which takes 2-5 minutes per article.) We can put your name on some of these articles so you can build up your bylines.

2) Researching and writing articles based on the provided outlines.
These are a series of nearly 200 articles that need to be written in 2024. The outlines are structured and you will have examples to follow. If you struggle to find some information, just let me know and I will be able to guide you. These articles will not have a byline.

The topics will range from home improvement to health to legal to travel, so you will have the opportunity to learn about a lot of topics. The hours are completely flexible as long as they are completed monthly and you communicate if you’re taking a day off, ideally in advance. I know life happens and you will have personal commitments; I only ask that you let me know so I can plan accordingly. This job has the potential to grow over time, if you would like that. The payrate and hours per week are not firm, but not unlimited. This role is perfect for a stay at home parent, student, or someone looking to supplement their current wages.
