Job Description

Client: property management company in Chicago

Job Title: Systems Analyst (Yardi)

Responsibilities:
• Addresses Yardi support tickets/questions through the company’s IT ticketing systems [Genuity]
• Organizes, maintains, and troubleshoots core business applications, including application servers, associated hardware, endpoints, databases, and advanced technical issues
• Works with the management team to develop streamlined processes, procedures, automations and workflows that correspond with and affect different departments and lines within the business
• Researches and tests new software versions, plug ins, and customizations
• Assists with all 3rd party interface integrations for Yardi platforms. (e.g. budgeting software, utility billback programs, resident screening providers)
• Assists in conducting systems training sessions; instructional methods may include: individual training, group instruction, demonstrations and workshops
• Completes systems tasks for the onboarding and offboarding of acquired or transferred/sold properties
• Ensures databases align with data governance policies and procedures, with a focus on protection of PII.
• Assists the management team with other various tasks as assigned.
• Attends meetings and/or connects with other employees to share best practices.
• Modifies and creates new reports utilizing Yardi’s supported reporting formats (SSRS, YSR, Custom Financial Analytics) within the Yardi database to meet business needs.
• Works with Yardi’s support team to maintain Yardi database along with its modules to support property management, finance and accounting, compliance, and reporting functionality
• Acts as an essential contributor to create project plans, propose and implement new software solutions and/or system changes, and to maintain and track approved projects

Qualifications:
• Minimum 4 years of experience providing technical support for Yardi products, especially Yardi Voyager 7S (advanced knowledge of its applications, modules, and backend functionality)
• Experience managing a helpdesk ticketing system is required
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
• Must have strong knowledge of basic computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams
• Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills
• Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to support and contribute to a community team
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must be willing to work during US Central hours (between 7am – 8pm CST)
