As a UI/UX Designer + Junior Front-End HTML/CSS Developer, you will be responsible for keeping the wheels of a growing startup turning!

You will regularly create new designs based on our UI Kit, current screens, and project specifications; communicate in Trello/Slack and transform your beautiful designs into basic html/css of new screens to help support mission critical projects in our startup.

As a UX Designer/Front-End Developer with us, you will:

– Master UI/UX design principles to create seamless user experiences.
– Transform concepts into interactive prototypes using tools like Zeplin, ensuring smooth transitions from design to development.
– Build prototypes in Sketch App software utilizing UI Kits for pixel-perfect designs.

Here are the skills that will come handy:

– Excellent English writing and communication skills. We believe communication is critical.
– Proficiency with Sketch or similar UI/UX software
– 4+ years experience as a UX/UI Designer
– 4+ years experience as a front-end developer
– Experience adding, managing and organizing designs.
– Ability to break down complex design concepts into simple, easy-to-use user experiences.
– Must be comfortable with occasional video calls.
– Previous freelance or remote work experience.
– Canva/Graphic design experience creating blog post featured images is also a plus (though not required).

Location

This is a remote position – our team is spread around the globe! Our home base is in Arizona, USA, so company operating hours are Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5pm MST (UTC -7). While full coverage is not a requirement, you must be available during a portion of the day. If we need to sync up in real-time before you work on your project/tasks.

Requirements

– Personal Computer with (reliable) Internet Access
– Availability to participate in (bi-weekly) audio/video meetings between the hours 8 am – 5 pm PST
– Available for 40+ hours per week (this is a full-time position)
