With 1,300 subscribers and growing, we aim to bring engaging and shocking content to attract a wide audience. We are looking for a YouTube Channel Manager to join our team and help us reach new heights.

Job Description:

The YouTube Channel Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our YouTube channel, ensuring that we engage our audience with high-quality content while growing our subscriber base. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of YouTube’s platform and best practices.

Responsibilities:

– Continuous self-education with relation to the Youtube platform and it’s algorithm.
– Develop and implement strategies to increase viewership and subscriber numbers.
– Manage the content calendar, ensuring timely uploading/publication of videos.
– Optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails to improve SEO.
– Analyze performance metrics to understand viewer behavior and adjust strategies accordingly.
– Daily email reporting to administrators to ensure that progress is made towards channel growth.
– Coordinate with content creators and editors to ensure content is engaging and on-brand.
– Manage and respond to comments and messages, fostering a positive community.
– Stay up-to-date with YouTube’s policies, trends, and algorithm changes.
– Daily Social Media Content Management with posting for Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, amongst others.

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a YouTube Channel Manager or similar role.
– Strong understanding of YouTube analytics and SEO strategies.
– Excellent communication and writing skills.
– Ability to analyze data and provide insights.
– Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
– Experience with video editing software is a plus.
– Passionate about [your channel’s niche] and up-to-date with industry trends.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field good to have, but not required.
– Previous Experience with Youtube Channel Management and Familiarity with it’s analytics preferred.
