Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our YouTube channel team. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our content and ensuring a high-quality viewing experience for our audience. Responsibilities:
1. Editing and Post-Production:
• Edit raw footage into engaging and polished videos for our YouTube channel.
• Incorporate music, sound effects, graphics, and visual effects to enhance video quality.
• Ensure smooth transitions, pacing, and continuity throughout the videos.
• Collaborate with content creators to understand their vision and bring it to life through editing.
2. Content Optimization:
• Stay updated on YouTube trends, algorithms, and best practices for video content.
• Optimize videos for SEO by incorporating relevant keywords, titles, and descriptions.
• Implement strategies to maximize viewer retention and engagement.
3. Quality Control:
• Maintain high standards of video and audio quality.
• Review and provide feedback on content to ensure it aligns with the channel’s brand and objectives.
• Troubleshoot and address technical issues related to video editing and production.
4. Collaboration:
• Work closely with the content creation team to understand the goals and objectives of each video.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, animators, and other team members to enhance visual elements.
5. Efficiency and Time Management:
• Manage and prioritize multiple editing projects to meet deadlines.
• Streamline the editing process while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Stay organized with project files, versions, and backups.
6. Continuous Learning:
• Stay abreast of industry trends, new editing techniques, and emerging technologies.
• Proactively seek opportunities for skill development and improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work in VLOGS AND SHORTS
2. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other industry-standard tools.
3. Knowledge and experience with TubeBuddy analytics for YouTube. Must have a TubeBuddy account. Using this technology to determine best thumbnails, keywords, etc.
4. Strong understanding of YouTube’s SEO, content guidelines, algorithms, and best practices.
5. Solid knowledge of video production techniques, including color grading, audio editing, and motion graphics.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English
7. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
8. Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual storytelling.
9. Understanding of the real estate industry in the United States is helpful.
