We are seeking a talented and experienced YouTube Editor to join our team for a new channel focused on basketball and NBA content. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and a keen eye for integrating stock footage seamlessly into our videos.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit video content with a focus on storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement, ensuring each video (up to 12 minutes running time) is captivating and informative.
Proficiently use Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Final Cut Pro to create high-quality video content.
Source and incorporate relevant stock footage in line with the script’s requirements and the overall theme of the channel.
Work collaboratively with our scriptwriters and production team to bring our content to life in a way that resonates with our basketball/NBA audience.
Ensure the final product is polished, professional, and aligns with our channel’s standards and style.

Requirements:

Proven experience in video editing, preferably with a focus on sports or entertainment content.
3+ years of EXTENSIVE experience in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Final Cut Pro.
Ability to source and effectively integrate stock footage into videos.
Strong portfolio showcasing your previous work and video samples.
Ability to edit videos up to 12 minutes in length, with excellent pacing and narrative flow.
Understanding of YouTube platform requirements and audience engagement strategies.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within tight deadlines.
