YouTube expert (honest job posting)

We’re a small family-run business with big dreams! We’re looking to add talented, hard working people to our team so we can all grow together. We produce videos for the little guy (or girl) looking to punch above their weight and have our own mini YouTube empire where we are 33% of the way towards our goal of reaching 1 million subscribers.

We’re looking to add more talented people to our small team and people who work hard.
We want to develop the type of organization where the most junior person can overrule the most senior and in order to do that we need to add some more talented people to our team.

We’re looking for a YouTube Marketing Expert or a YouTube Manager or whatever you’d like to call someone with lives and breaths all things YouTube! Someone who stays up to date with the absolute latest trends on YouTube and other video social networking sites. While we want this person to be as talented as possible, much more importantly we want someone who will fit into our company culture easily. This person should be:
– hard working,
– not afraid to speak up,
– detail oriented,
– responsible,
– a great communicator,
– and above all else, honest!

Other skills such as a knowledge of SEO, excellent written English, etc. are also important but for someone with the right attitude and work ethic we are willing to consider and train anyone.

As we regularly work with channels with 10k – 500k subscribers, we’re looking for someone who can show us they are able to handle the responsibility of advising creators on YT best practices and assist our team in optimizing our YouTube channels and videos.

Definitely an added bonus if you are experienced with other social networks like FB, IG and TikTok but it’s not required as YouTube is our main thing!

**Compensation**

I know it’s frustrating when a company doesn’t post the compensation but honestly it really depends on experience. We are a Canadian company so the lowest we would pay to a very junior person would be $7 and the most we could afford currently would probably be around $12 for someone with a lot of experience and an impressive background. So it really depends on the candidate. There are end of year 13th month bonuses as well as wage rises for great performance. Other benefits will come in time and as we grow.

**Hours**

Mostly flexible but some overlap with our team will be needed, especially at the start. We understand people have families though like us so we’re happy to accommodate people as best we can. Position will be part time to start (20 – 30 hrs/week) but hopefully moving to full time very quickly.
