Job Responsibilities:
A YouTube Manager at a music label is responsible for overseeing the label’s presence and content on YouTube. This role involves managing the label’s YouTube channel, promoting music videos, and engaging with the audience. Here are the updated job position requirements:
1. YouTube Expertise: In-depth knowledge of YouTube’s platform, including its algorithms, analytics, best practices, and policies.
2. Content Strategy: Ability to develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with the music label’s branding and goals, including release schedules, premieres, and promotional content.
3. SEO and Metadata Optimization: Proficiency in optimizing video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails, subtitles translations, to improve discoverability and search rankings.
4. Copyright and Licensing: Knowledge of YouTube’s copyright policies, music licensing, and content ownership issues to ensure compliance and protect the label’s rights.
5. Audience Engagement: The capability to foster a strong community on the YouTube channel, interact with viewers, and respond to comments and feedback.
6. Data Analysis: Skill in using YouTube analytics to track video performance, user engagement, and audience demographics, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
7. Social Media Integration: Integrating YouTube content with other social media platforms to maximize cross-promotion and engagement.
