YouTube Thumbnail Designer

Vireo Video is looking for a Thumbnail Designer to join our tenacious and fast growing team.

This role will require you to communicate with our Account Managers and video marketing team daily to help execute YouTube Marketing strategies for our awesome clients.

Ideal candidate
– Expertise in graphic design software, such as Photoshop or Illustrator
– A strong understanding of color theory, composition, and typography
– Stay up-to-date with current design trends and techniques to continuously improve the quality of our thumbnails
– Deeply passionate and knowledgeable about YouTube content – what works, best practices
– A YouTube Channel you’ve managed or built, and can demonstrate success in assisting channels and improving key metrics
– Self Starter – Finding key areas to help generate business for ourselves or clients, and being able to implement new value adds and upsells.
– Driven — you’re not someone who needs to be micromanaged and you don’t wait around for problems or quality concerns to hit others’ radars before brainstorming a fix
– High attention to detail, knows how to prioritize, and works well under pressure
Job requirements
– Design thumbnails that align with our channel’s brand guidelines and target audience
– Create visually stunning thumbnails that will catch the attention of viewers and make them want to click on our videos
– Collaborate with our Account Managers to ensure that the thumbnails accurately represent the video’s content and tone
– Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality thumbnails in a timely manner
– Responding to and delivering client and internal requests in a service–oriented manner.
– Prepare multiple Thumbnail variants to be split tested
