About Our Channels:
We manage four YouTube channels, each with a distinct style and focus:
– Business & Finance: Informative and engaging content with talking heads, captions, b-roll, screen captures, and creative use of gifs and pop culture references.
– Netflix Series Review: Specific editing format to avoid copyright claims using short clips and stills from the series.
– Travel: Stunning visuals and high-quality b-roll showcasing breathtaking destinations (faceless channel).
– Real Estate: Straightforward videos requiring minimal edits.
Responsibilities:
-Edit and refine video content for all four YouTube channels, adhering to each channel’s specific format and style.
-Collaborate with the team to understand video concepts, scripts, voiceovers, and source materials.
-Apply creative input to enhance video flow, pacing, and visual storytelling.
-Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro, Lovo, and Opus Clips for video editing.
-Optimize videos for YouTube search to improve discoverability and engagement.
-Continuously learn and implement new video editing techniques and best practices.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing versatility across styles.
-A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality, engaging videos.
-Familiarity with YouTube SEO optimization and best practices.
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
-Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Lovo, and Opus Clips (or similar software).
-Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines (48 hours for most videos).
-A self-starter with a proactive approach to professional development.
Bonus Points:
-Experience editing videos for YouTube channels.
-Knowledge of the business & finance, travel, and/or real estate industries (a plus for relevant channels).
-Familiarity with current pop culture references and memes (for the business & finance channel).
