Youtube Video Editor

Looking for an experienced and creative video editor. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a proven track record of creating engaging and visually appealing content.

Responsibilities:

– Edit and produce high-quality video content for my YouTube channel, including but not limited to vlogs, tutorials, reviews, and promotional videos
– Work collaboratively with me to ensure that the video content aligns with the channel’s vision and goals
– Take raw footage and turn it into compelling, polished videos with strong narratives and appropriate pacing
– Incorporate sound design, music, and visual effects to enhance the overall quality of the videos (I will provide B-roll footage, soundFX, etc.)
– Edit and export videos in a timely manner to meet production deadlines
– Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure that our content is innovative and engaging

Qualifications:

– Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates a high level of proficiency in video editing software
– Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives through video
– Knowledge of sound design, music selection, and visual effects
– Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with content creators
– Ability to work efficiently and meet production deadlines
– Understanding of YouTube’s video standards, guidelines, and best practices
– A passion for YouTube and staying up-to-date with the latest video trends and technologies

I will offer $0.50 per minute for video editing work. However, as you become more experienced and efficient, I’ll be happy to increase the rate to $0.75 per minute and eventually up to $1 per minute.

To be considered for this position, you must have sample videos you can share with me. I want to see your editing skills in action and get a sense of your style and approach to editing.
