Company Overview: We are a growing YouTube channel .We’re seeking a dedicated video editor who can help bring our content to the next level and enhance viewer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Video Editing:
• Edit raw video footage to produce engaging and professional YouTube videos.
• Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects as needed.
• Ensure proper syncing of audio and video.
2. Audio Enhancement:
• Improve and clean up audio, ensuring clear and high-quality sound.
• Incorporate background music, sound effects, and voiceovers when required.
3. Graphics and Animation:
• Design and animate custom intros, outros, and transitions.
• Incorporate on-screen text and graphics to emphasize key points.
4. Color Correction:
• Adjust color balance and improve visual quality for a consistent look and feel.
5. Content Review & Quality Assurance:
• Collaborate with content creators for feedback and revisions.
• Ensure that the final output aligns with the channel’s branding and standards.
6. Uploading and Publishing:
• Prepare and optimize videos for upload to YouTube.
• Input video metadata including title, description, tags, and thumbnails.
7. Stay Updated:
• Keep current with YouTube’s best practices and specifications.
• Stay updated on the latest editing software updates and trends.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a video editor, preferably for YouTube content.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics tools like Adobe After Effects.
• A keen eye for details and a critical mind for content review.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with content creators and other team members.
• High-speed internet connection and a reliable computer setup for remote work.
