Youtube Video Editor

This is a very flexible freelance video editing job with a ton of room to grow, take on more work, and get raises!

We run a network of YouTube channels and are looking for video editors to help with one of our newest channels.

The channel will feature videos focused on Comedy.

For this job, you’ll be given 10-20 minute audio voiceovers and will be required to source your own video clips using various internet videos, tv shows, and movies. Some direction can be provided if needed.

Being a comedy fan isn’t required, but it is a plus.

Here’s EXACTLY who we’re looking for:

Soft skills:

– Fluent in English, both written and spoken
– Artistic and creative (this position allows for a lot of creative freedom!)
– Ability to receive feedback and follow instructions
– EXTREME ATTENTION TO DETAILS
– Fast at responding
– Capable of figuring out problems on your own
– Extremely organized

Technical skills (you need ALL of these skills):

– Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
– You will NOT be able to use Final Cut Pro or other video editors
– Adobe After Effects would be great but not required
– The Google Suite: Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc
– Skype on computer and mobile device

Other requirements:

– Reasonable turnaround times
– Premiere Pro with active Adobe Creative Cloud subscription (illegitimate copies are not allowed)
– A strong computer that can edit videos
– Fast wifi, including fast upload speed if available in your area
– Accurate/good headphones or speakers
