We’re looking for a video editor to join our team
It’ll be a super fun job for someone who’s keen to flex their creativity, with lots of autonomy, and working on stuff that’ll hopefully be seen by millions of people around the world.
What You’ll Be Doing:
We’re looking to drastically increase my output going forward so you’ll be key in helping me level up and increase the reach of new clients. This will involve:
– Editing long-form videos on various YouTube channels. Ideally, we want to make sure we can do 2-5 long-form videos per week + revisions.
– Editing Shorts for various YouTube channels. We’re in a golden period at the moment where Shorts are a source of underpriced attention and we want to take advantage of that so the aim is to be able to make cool animated shorts for clients.
– Repurposing content. You might be required to assist with editing different genres of content including podcasts, repurposed clips from podcasts, and YouTube videos.
– Repurposing content from videos, podcasts, and other media for social media promotion. This would require chopping up recordings into short-form clips and reels that can be used across platforms including Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
– Suggesting ideas to develop the whole brand and move it forward in line with the vision. I want you to get involved with the development of the business and I’m keen for you to be on board with working together to move things forward.
Requirements
– You’re an expert using Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro (preferably both) and you’ve got experience with motion graphic software like After Effects or Motion (preferably After Effects)
– You’re excited by the idea of joining a small team and developing the brand over the next 1-3 years rather than just serving as an editor – we want someone who’s excited about growing this into a world-leading business over the coming years.
– You’re able to thrive in an ambitious, fast-paced, and flexible environment with a high degree of autonomy. This isn’t a position for someone who isn’t comfortable with change.
