YouTube Video Editor

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in video editing for YouTube, as well as a creative eye for storytelling and visual composition. They should be able to work quickly and efficiently, and be able to take direction from the content creator.
In this role, you will be working with a content creator to create high-quality video content for YouTube. This can include a range of content, from educational, talking head videos to traditional vlogs. You will be responsible for working with the raw footage and using your editing skills to create a final product that is engaging and professional.
In addition to your editing skills, you should also have a good understanding of YouTube and the types of content that perform well on the platform. You should be able to use your knowledge of the platform to create videos that are optimized for maximum engagement and reach.
As a YouTube video editor, you are responsible for creating engaging and professional video content for the platform. This can include tasks such as:
– Editing raw footage (up to 1 hour raw footage per video)
– Adding visual effects and graphics
– Using Frameio to communicate with content creator for revisions
– Ensuring that the final product is polished and ready for publication
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
– Experience in film or video production, or a related field
– At least 3 years of experience in video editing
– Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
– A strong portfolio of video editing work
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills
– A good understanding of YouTube and the types of content that perform well on the platform
**We are looking for someone part time and eventually move to full time. We work fast and need someone who can edit at least 2 videos per week with a 48 hour turnover per video with minimal revisions. Each video is 10-40 minutes long. This is a serious commitment and we are also looking for an individual who can grow with the company long term. We are a tight knit team and someone who aligns with our mission and values is a must.**
