YouTube Video Editor

We are seeking a part-time YouTube video editor to help with content creation and administrative tasks related to our client’s YouTube channel. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing videos and assisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling, research, and keeping up with trends.
Responsibilities:
1. Edit raw or trimmed footage into high-quality videos that are engaging, visually appealing, and high % watch time.
2. Work with the team to understand the vision and direction of each video.
3. Add appropriate titles, text, colors, sound effects, music, motion graphics and transitions to enhance the overall quality of the video.
4. Ensure videos are optimized for YouTube
5. Conduct research and compile YouTube analytics as needed
6. Communicate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
7. Stay up-to-date with YouTube trends, changes in algorithms, and best practices to ensure maximum engagement and reach
Requirements:
1. Strong video editing skills including motion graphics and experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
2. Knowledge of YouTube and social media platforms (i.e. Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels)
3. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills
5. Attention to detail and accuracy
6. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
7. Experience with administrative tasks such as scheduling and data entry
8. Access to a reliable computer and high-speed internet
9. This is a part-time position, with approximately 10-15 hours per week. The successful candidate will work remotely and must be able to maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate video production deadlines.
