YouTube Video Editor

This is a long-term position with great benefits such as bonuses and raises based on performance.
We’re looking for a talented, ambitious video editor looking to grow their skills with a great team and help us cut down 45 minutes of interview video footage into a 20-minute video and a few shorts, once per week.
You’ll be responsible for editing 1 x 20 minute video and 4 x 60 second shorts every week.
Our workflow is in Final Cut Pro X, so we require that the video is edited in Final Cut Pro X.
Deliverables will be the Final Cut Pro project files.
Raw footage will be comprised of 2 angles of 1 interview, and you will need to cut between each angle depending on who is speaking and cover mistakes or jump cuts by cutting to the person who is not speaking at the appropriate time.
The subject matter discusses trends in NFTs and cryptocurrency, so we’re looking for someone interested in the space.
As a Part-Time YouTube Video Editor, you’ll join a small talented team of creatives building the next big things in Web3.
Responsibilities:
– Efficiently edit ~45-minutes of 2 angles down to 20 minutes while maintaining quality
– Suggest creative meme suggestions for video content
– Creative edits consistent with YouTube
– Implement revisions based on feedback
– Create shorts from 20-minute videos as per provided instructions
– Add appropriate cuts and ensure balanced audio levels
– Produce one 20-minute video and four 60-second shorts per week
– Include captions/titles in the edited shorts consistent with YouTube trends
Requirements:
– Proficient in Final Cut Pro X
– Knowledge and understanding of cryptocurrency trends
– Submission of a comprehensive portfolio showcasing editing skills
– Willingness to adhere to a standard Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
– Interest and experience with Web3 and NFTs
