Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Long-Form YouTube Video Editor with proven expertise in SEO optimization to join the IAM3 Lab team. Your primary role will be to edit and assemble recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting on our YouTube channel. The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects. This is a key role in the post-production process and your skills will determine the quality and delivery of the final output.
Responsibilities:
-Edit 7-10 camera angles to create elegant and smooth DJ Mix videos, ensuring a seamless viewing experience for our audience.
-Collaborate with the production team to understand the concept and requirements of each project.
-Incorporate creative input to enhance video content while maintaining the brand’s vision and audience’s engagement.
-Optimize video content for search engines using best SEO practices to increase visibility and engagement.
-Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for final videos according to YouTube’s standards.
-Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in video editing and SEO to continuously improve content quality.
-Manage multiple projects and adhere to tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in video editing with a portfolio showcasing your work on long-form content, preferably with multiple camera angles.
-Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
-Strong understanding of SEO best practices and how to apply them to YouTube content.
-Creative storytelling abilities with a keen eye for detail.
-Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a remote team.
-Passion for music, especially electronic music and DJ culture, is a plus.
