Job Description:
As a YouTube Video Editor specializing in Marvel and DC content, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and visually compelling videos that captivate our audience. Your deep understanding of superhero lore and storytelling will be crucial in creating content that resonates with fans. In addition to your creative skills, you will leverage your expertise in SEO to optimize our videos for maximum visibility and reach on the platform.
Responsibilities:
Edit and produce high-quality YouTube videos centered around Marvel and DC content.
Utilize your comprehensive knowledge of Marvel and DC universes to ensure accuracy and authenticity in storytelling.
Collaborate with the content team to develop engaging video concepts and scripts.
Implement SEO strategies to optimize video titles, descriptions, and tags for improved discoverability.
Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes to continually refine our SEO strategies.
Maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all video content.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a video editor, preferably within the Marvel/DC or similar entertainment niche.
Extensive knowledge of Marvel and DC characters, storylines, and lore.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of SEO principles and techniques, particularly as they relate to YouTube.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a remote team environment and meet tight deadlines.
A passion for superheroes and a genuine enthusiasm for creating engaging content.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with YouTube analytics and SEO tools.
