YouTube Video Editor (Work from Home)

Actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Video Editor to join our team on a full-time basis.
You’ll be responsible for the editing of video content for a new YouTube channel, with a focus on producing engaging educational videos. The primary format of the videos will be in the talking head style designed to keep the viewer engaged throughout the duration of the video.
Our ultimate objective is to provide answers to search-based inquiries on Google and YouTube, thereby attracting new clients and building authority within our niche industry through our in-depth knowledge and understandable breakdowns.
The responsibilities for this role may include:
Reviewing and editing raw footage to create a polished, finished video
– Adding graphics, text, special effects, and other visual elements to enhance the video
– Collaborating with our team to develop and execute creative concepts for video content
– Choosing appropriate music and sound effects to enhance the video
– Optimizing video titles, descriptions, and tags to increase discoverability
– Analyzing data and using it to optimize the video’s performance
– Creating shorts and reels from long form content
The style and structure of videos we want to create are similar to these creators
– StartupWise – Talking head and edits
– Charlie Chang – Talking head and edits
– Vanessa Lau – Reels and edits
To be successful in this role, the right candidate should have strong creative and technical skills, as well as a good understanding of the YouTube platform and the content that performs well on the platform.
You should have:
– Strong communication and collaboration skills
– The ability to work to structured processes
– Be open and honest
– Always looking for ways to improve.
– Be able to work effectively with creators and other members of the team
– A background in video editing
– High-Speed Internet
– Can focus on our goals and targets Full-time (Not having multiple clients)
– Strong understanding of the YouTube platform, algorithm, and video recipe for success.
